Lambscapes
Grade Level: 3rd Grade
Media: Collage, Painting
Students will learn about what a landscape is in art and where foreground, middle, and background are within one. They will learn how to overlap paper to show things coming forward and backward. They will paint dots with white and add faces and legs to create lambs. Then they will add form to their landscape by creating lambs out of model magic to show the foreground where things look bigger than the rest.

Collage
Step 1: Students will cut out their foreground, middle ground, and background out of three different shades of green and glue them staggered to blue construction paper.

Painting
Step 2: Students will use cotton swabs to paint circles for the body of their lambs.
Add Details
Step 3: Students will add heads and feet to their lamb bodies using thin and thick Sharpies depending on the ground.
