Abstract Landscapes

Grade Level: High School

Media: Acrylic paint

Students will learn about foreground, middle ground, and background in a landscape and how things look up close and farther away. They are introduced to different artists that use different painting styles such as realistic, blocky, and loose techniques. They will choose a painting style from one of the artists to incorporate within their piece to create a landscape.
